I get married in August and mine went out a month ago. You want to grab people before they book their holidays x

Getting married in December and sending invites out end of April to make sure people can make plans - busy time of year with Christmas etc!

I’m getting married next November and I plan to send my invites out by this November at the latest!
If I can send them by this August/September, even better 🙂

Depends who you're inviting. Most of my friends and family are involved in education and we're getting married in October half term so we started sending our invitations out in February in case people had booked holidays

I'm getting married in August, I done save the date cards last year to the day guests that would need to take time off, as we're getting married on a weekday and I've just sent out my invitations couple weeks ago, give time for people to RSVP so we can organise the food x

We're getting married August and have just sent our invites out for day guests, as they include menu options. We need the rsvp's back by the end of May so we can inform the venue what food people would like

We got married in August and we sent ours out the start of July as most people knew the date anyway.

I’m getting married in July and we sent them out in January as the venue needed to know this week about numbers and food etc x

We get married the first weekend of August. Sent our Save the Dates this time last year before people were likely to be booking this year's holidays. We will send invites in the next week or two and then ask for RSVP by June (venue requires numbers one month prior to event so that gives us 3-4 weeks to chase people, if necessary).

The norm is 3 months before

Were getting married in November and sending out invitations this week with three months to rsvp. We are getting married a bit away from where we stay so want to give people the chance to book hotels etc

We are getting married start of September and sent our invites last month with rsvp date of 31st May, did it earlyish cos some people need to travel, sort hotels, childcare (not having children) and we need time to sort out menu choices and other stuff xx

Once we’ve booked we’ll be sending save the date invites to the people we want at the actual ceremony and that actual invites a year in advance. Gives people time to book it of work if needs be x

We sent ours out early (March), we also get married in August but wanted to give enough time that if someone didn’t want to come we had time to invite someone else off the reserve list.

Approx 10 months to a year in advance if you are marrying in August, as it's kids school holidays and so many people have holidays booked or planned. x
