I had 2nd thoughts... ended up getting another dress I was more comfortable in and just fell in love with.
1st dress was gorgeous and simple, and I'm sure it would be perfect for someone else! It just wasn't quite right for me.

I'm literally in that boat. Can't work out if it's because it's not the dress or just because it's not what I imagined getting

When I purchased my dress, I kept looking at pictures thinking to myself I wasn't sure, however, I went for my first fitting after it had been altered and realised why I purchased it, I think it was because it didn't fit me properly at first as to why I had doubts.

Have you recently seen it and that's caused the doubt or have you not seen it for a while? I found I started doubting myself but it was always when I hadn't seen my dress in a while. Then every time I've seen it since I've loved it and every other dress I've seen just doesn't compare. If you have seen it recently is there anything you could buy to make it unique like adding a belt or something?

It’s a dress, not the groom.

I feel exactly the same.. I've bought my dress. Really not sure about it anymore. I'm thinking about getting another one. Such a big decision. Think I rushed it

I was really bad with this, I had taken pictures and I constantly kept looking at them.. actually had to delete the pictures as i was ready to call the shop and say I had changed my mind! Just kept thinking id made a big mistake as it is the complete opposite to what I thought I wanted.. as soon as I tried my dress back on I fell in love immidiatly with it again and not had any sort if doubt since. I had my last dress fitting last week and I'm so in love with my dress. Only just over 2 weeks to go to the wedding! Can't wait 😊

Yes I changed my mind a few weeks after paying a deposit on a dress. I cancelled the order and went with a different dress x

Omg I literally could have written this post, I too am getting married in June and keep wondering if I’ve got the right dress

I guess we need something to panic about, you loved the dress when you bought it, don’t panic, I’m sure it’s just perfect xx

I did this, thankfully I could return my dress for a refund, then went shopping again and fell completely in love with the one I wed in! If you’re not 100% then I would say it’s not the one for you. But it could be that at the time it didn’t fit- needs alterations or just you see another and think what if?! Good luck x

I brought my dress in May 2017 and get married in September. Every now and then I wonder if I made the right choice but then I look at a photo of me in the dress and I remember exactly why I chose it and I know that once it's had it's alterations it will look even better

I had second thoughts but I couldn't afford another dress so I learned to love it.... I still think I would have picked differently if I could have gone back but I didn't hate my dress, I still felt great on the day and I often get it out of the bag to have a look X

Try the dress on with your shoes and accessories. It also helps to do your hair and makeup so you can get a feel for what it will look like on your big day. You may find yourself falling in love with it!
