Depending where I end up staying the night before, I'd love pigs in blankets as they are my absolute favourite! I always have them birthday (I'm a Dec baby) and Christmas too.
Is there something that is your favourite you HAVE to have on special occasions? X

Maybe 2-3 smaller options spaced out during the morning? Rather than having one large breakfast.

No white carbs. Eggs & salmon or bacon. Fruit & yogurt. Definitely no bread

I'm planning on cereal and a yoghurt. My wedding is at 11am so needs to be quick so I can get ready lol.
If you know what foods bloat you just avoid them and have whatever else you fancy x

Probably depends what time of day you’re getting married, but I would go for a little breakfast early (pancakes or cereal etc.) and then something snackyish just beforehand to avoid tummy rumbles in the middle of vows 😂🙄

Eggs Benedict is a lush breakfast, enough to keep you going but not a monster meal

I'm planning on croisant, and scrambled egg. It should be enough to fill me, but not too much so I bloat (and it goes great with bucks fizz too!) Good luck! X

It will be a toss up between, French baguette with marmite and dairylea or bagels with creme cheese!!

Ooo great question!! I have the same dilemma !!! I absolutely 100% bloat whenever I eat and I want to look as slim as possible for the ceremony and pictures.. were getting married around 1ish so I need to be really careful but on the other hand want to eat everything I love on my special day... However the things I adore are pastries/poached egg/or even pancakes .... All things that I worry would make me balloon. Will be watching this post to see any good ideas . If I was truly being helpful I would have suggested cereals or something long lasting like porridge but it does depend on your own body. I'm sorry I've been useless lol let me know you find out any tricks x

I was at the hotel but when it came to it I couldn’t stomach anything (nerves hit me that morning despite being calm the whole lead up) I ended up eating a tiny croissant and half an apple

Small bowl of porridge. You can add honey or syrup or cinnamon or fruit or Nutella or anything you want or keep it plain. But the complex carbohydrates will give you energy and help to settle your stomach without bloating (as long as you don't have a huuuge bowl).

Sausage and egg butty

Don't worry about bloating! You'll be nervous and preoccupied and will need sustenance - trust me, if you're hungry because all you've eaten is fruit you'll lose concentration and feel worse than if you eat something sensible or even a treat and feel a bit bloated. If you're bloated but not hungry you will have a much better time and food helps balance out your hormones which will help you manage your day better. If the bloating seriously worries you, maybe spend some time looking at your diet and eat different foods on the lead up to the wedding? The most important thing is that you're in the best frame of your mind and the easiest way to do that is to make sure you eat something proper. Encourage your appetite by choosing it in advance and looking forward to the special food as part of the special day! Something that is a treat will help but make sure it's got lots of fibre and protein in it (they'll help keep you fuller for longer). I'm definitely eating my favourite breakfast on the day, if I can't manage all of it, at least I've tried!
