My MOH lives in America but thankfully she's due to visit for a couple of months soon. What are the main things you have needed your MOH to do? I can utilise my Bridesmaids hugely but I want her to do as much as possible

Haven't NEEDED my MOH to do anything but I did WANT her there for dress shopping. If your bridesmaids are closer you could rely on them for a lot more if you wanted. But H2B and I basically done everything ourselves. Haven't needed very much help with anything.
I have a MOH in the US and one in the UK (yes, two!). She is dress shopping there - not wearing the same colour as the other MOH. We’re all keeping in touch with each other on messenger and sharing pictures etc. So far, so good!
I would say the main this is to, get them all together for dress shopping. Especially if you want them all wherein the same.
I haven't given my MOH or bridesmaids anything to do other than decide on their shoes and hair. My MOH wanted to plan my hen do which is lovely of her
If you want her to have a hand in planning things, double check with her first to make sure she's capable given the distance but I would say things like dress shopping, planning your hen party, helping choose table decor and favours and even sometimes they help with table plans but I think generally the couple's do that now. Basically a MOH in my books is someone who is readily available to help you with the planning when you need it and also to make sure you're happy and well looked after I'm your big day
