Personally I think it is a little soon but it all depends on whether you think your bridesmaids will grow (if they are young), if they are likely to put on weight or maybe become pregnant.

My wedding isn't until March 2019 & we have ours already :)

Depends on your bridesmaids. If their weight doesn't tend to change then go for it.

I was a bridesmaid in August and we bought out dresses in the October before and we had issues with weight gain so we had to diet a few weeks before the wedding

Got mine soon after getting engaged and not getting married til Aug 2019. Also got my dress. I think do as much as you can early to take the stress off. Also dresses can be altered so I wouldn't worry too much about weight gain etc. If they have to go on a diet for a few weeks, so be it!

Our wedding is March 2019, I got bridesmaids dresses a couple of months ago. I’m prepared for me changing my mind or change in size of my girls, but just means another shopping trip. Couldn’t let them go, and at £20 each I’m not loosing much if we change.

I’d be worried that they could put on/lose weight etc, but if you love them and think the girls won’t change too much go for it! I’m getting married in 14 weeks and haven’t got mine yet as we have a 5 and 12 year old to accommodate xx

Why not let them buy their own? They can wear what they are comfortable wearing and it saves you money and time!

I'm June 19 and I've bought mine ..but that was only because the dress was reduced to a third of the original price x

My bridesmaid dress was chosen 15 months before the wedding. I gained weight in that time without realising and had to rush to lose it in order to do up the zip. It was hellish and I did it, but I know some people struggle to lose weight. Discuss with your bridesmaids for their thoughts - everyone is different :-)

I guess it depends on the dress. If you love it that much go for it if you think it will be easily altered. Although I would say 5 months before my mums wedding I was pregnant and had to completely change my dress as it was a tight fitting and I needed breathing room ;) so bare this in mind and good luck ♡ xxx
