Not quite the same but after the registry office we are going to a Wildlife Park where we have access all afternoon and then a party in one of their suites all night.

We have about 1 1/2 hour turn around. We aren't having entertainment, just allowing people to relax, chat, gives me and my h2b a chance to speak to people, have extra photos etc. You don't always need to put on entertainment for your guests, often they are happy to grab a drink and have a chat.

We are having a barbeque and we run a pub with a kids area so we are lucky to have that but I think it depends what time you are going to your venue and how long inbetween your night guests coming x

Most weddings I've been to the wedding breakfast ends around the same time as the evening reception starting.

We’re getting married in a museum so they’re able to have a wander and go to the fair

I have 1.5 hours where I need everyone out of the main hall. There is another room so I have hired a children’s entertainer who will also involve the parents of the kids and everyone else will be in the bar!

My friend had a mock casino. With fake money and silly prizes I.e. Easter egg for winning kid and a pair of slippers for the adult winner of the night. Was light fun entertainment.

We’re having a roulette table. Mainly for the men to have something to do. I’ve been to weddings where they’ve been slow turnaround and there’s only so much talking you can do so at least they have something to do and they’ll be a prize after. Xx

For my first wedding; none as that’s the time for family to catch up talk & have a drink! Tbf this time around were not having a wedding breakfast so it’ll be similar except DJ will be coming but earlier
