I am getting married in less then a months time, I really really nervous though that I have forgotten to do stuff as I have been so unorganised. Has anyone else found this or has everyone had theirs's planned and ready well in advance?

Hi I am worried about leaving things undone as I am doing almost everything on my own :)

I'd get a wedding organiser, they have checklists of things to do which may help? Mine worked wonders in reducing my anxiety I'd say aslong as your most important things are in place i.e you've registered your intent to marry, rings, venue, wedding clothes (bridal gown, grooms suit, bridal party/grooms party), flowers if your having them, seating plan if your having one, photographer/videographer, all appointments booked for hair/makeup etc is what I can think of off the top of my head, hopes this helps

I would agree with Stacey on the lists, just make a checklist of everything you need to do and everything that you have already done.

We are getting married in August, but still have the whole male wedding party (3men & a boy) to clothe & they need shoes too.. Gifts for mothers left to find & buy.. And £1,500 left to pay for things already booked. Theres loads of check lists online... And of cause we dont have to do everything thats on them. As long as we do whats required legally so it can go ahead..
Banns, Registrar, booked venue...etc. everything else is pretty much optional.. Try to chill. If you havent remembered it aint important to ya.. Have a wonderful day & best luck for the future..

All you need is someone to marry you, the groom and your loved ones there, some food & drink. The rest is just details!!! Honestly just enjoy the day.

Like everyone else has said enjoy yourselves. We are getting married in May this year. We only started planning things since January. But we managed to get a booking at the Registrar, lovely venue and DJ, plus a lovely lady to do the catering for us. Oh I will admit that when I got the invites printed I forgot to put a date that I needed the replies by :-) never mind everyone that we sent invites to are all attending. Nobody is perfect lol. Wishing you both all the best and many more special years ahead together :-)

I have less than 3 weeks now. I dont think you'll ever feel prepared enough. I feel like I am finding more things to do rather than saying "ok we're done". Have a lovely day, what you haven't thought of you wont miss x
