We did a tour of the South Coast. We enjoy static caravan holidays so as it was honeymoon we made sure we booked the top models as a special treat. We were married on the Saturday, nursed of hangovers on the Sunday, and travelled 8 hrs to Lizard in Cornwall for the Mon to Fri, then over to Torquay for Fri to Mon, then Weymouth for the Mon to Fri, then home on Friday to relax to go back to work the Monday after. We really enjoyed it!

This is ours... 2 weeks of pure bliss
A few people have mentioned Forest Holidays, my friends went to one of their cabins and they absolutely adored it, it's pricey but they said they wouldn't have gone anywhere else even if it was cheaper. My sister went to Blackpool for the week which was a cheaper alternative, they really enjoyed it there and got to visit some places that you wouldn't normally visit for just a day trip :)
We didn't do a honeymoon we just had a family holiday later in the year with the kids in Wales. I wasn't too bothered tbh as we booked the honeymoon suite in hotel. To me the wedding was about our little family and felt that needed to continue through the the marriage. But Devon and Cornwall in a cottage or glancing pod would make a lovely short honeymoon break!!!
We couldn't get time off for a honeymoon so we've organised a few days in Bath before the wedding! Bath do amazing packages with hotels and the spa so we've got a lovely 3 day getaway complete with some meals already paid for, treatments and time at the spa and a beautiful looking hotel, all for a very reasonable price!
We put a double mattress in the car (7 seater) and drove the coast of Scotland. West Coast to sky. Red point John o groats n back down east coast, loadsa stops, pulled in to caravan parks at night. The following month we done Devon and lands end! Loved it xx
Yorkshire and bath are lovely places to visit x
We’re going to Stretton Lakes.
Private log cabin on a fishing lake (for him of course) and hot tub and sauna (for me ️)
We went to Bournemouth and did a lot of day trips to local areas, it's a lovely place and a nice break. Definitely recommend and I can't wait to go back. :)
Going to the Lake District (where we got engaged) .. stunning scenery, amazing views, friendly people, lovely food and so much to see & do!
