I have a children’s entertainer coming, as we need to change the main room around for the evening and didn’t want the kids getting bored. He will also keep Adults entertained as he gets them involved as well.

We didn’t have anything it was nice for family and friends that hadn’t seen each other for a while to just mingle and catch up xx

We had a magician entertain kids and grown ups along with a singing pianist at drink reception before meal. Both were fab

Were luck that the Brewery were getting married in does small group brewery tours for no extra charge, but apart from that I’m pretty sure the tap room and gin bar will keep people busy, and will be a great chance for people to catch up! X

We will be having pictures and chance to talk to people. Between the meal finishing and the night time starting we have booked a characaturist

We have a singer who'll sing 50 mins in drinks reception after photos and the first 50 mins of the meal. £300 and she's really good and very friendly so will interact etc. Good luck x

I have booked a skittle alley in the oldest pub in Edinburgh next to the church we are getting married in for two hours before the reception x

We’re having Pier fun casinos. They do roulette tables - all of the fun, none of the risk!

We had a magician for the children. Me and my husband let doves go before the breakfast. Singing waiters during the wedding breakfast! Hope you have a lovely day xx

We had someone playing guitar while we had breakfast and though out the day and we had a band and disco at night

Our venue had lawn games and we had a jazz duo playing.

We are going to be having a string quartet to play us down the aisle, and will then go to the venue straight after to entertain the guests while they all have canapés and drinks and my fiancé and I will be having some pictures taken before we sit down for the wedding breakfast. I did think about getting some entertainment for the kids (and big kids) but not decided yet xx

We were thinking of having a magician! Just one who mingles and does small tricks. Went to another wedding that had one and it really helped getting all the guests to chat and get involved with each other too x

We're just having a few lawn games borrowed from friends but don't really expect people to use them much. I've been to a few weddings where there was "entertainment" and its mostly ignored as people are busy catching up. It's a great idea to have something interactive if you have a lot of people who don't know each other.
