I went into Clinique and explained my skin type (very dry) and they recommended their 7 day scrub and their gel hydrate moisturiser! Both lovely products! Plenty of water to keep you hydrated and keep your lips from getting dry xx

Speak to the make up artist doing your make up for the wedding. That's what I did. I then followed her instructions to the letter and my skin looked the best it ever has. It helped I was finally using a moisturiser for my face but never mind. I've continued it to xx

I went into a department store and spoke to a generic lady who pointed out the best people for me. rather than trying to sell me a particular brand. Ended up with Estée Lauder and because I explained my lack of makeup knowledge and this that and the other- she gave me a few samples of foundation that ended up being plenty for the wedding day, a trial run and a few extra on honeymoon! Without breaking my bank!

Try sudocrem or temple spa! That’s what I use and my skin is a lot better!

I daren't use anything new, that i havent tried b4 as my skin is really sensitive, so not much help. Except to say be careful incase you have a reaction , i would advise not to leave it too close to your wedding. To give time to heal.. Just in case.. Hope you have an amazing day..

Hey I have the same skin type you've described, I started using Elizabeth Arden day serum, day cream, night serum capsules and night cream and I also used the 8 hr lip balm. My skin was the best it has ever been on my wedding day, it's expensive but in my opinion totally worth it!!

Book in for a facial. They give you a 15 min consultation beforehand to discuss your skin type and any issues you have and then recommend products. They also look at your skin under blue and red lights to see what sort of products you may need. Usually get given a lot of free samples too :)

It's expensive but you can get samples but clarrens is a good one I have combined skin so some parts are dry where others are oily but clarrens was brilliant and you can get little samples to try first and they have a variety of products for various skin types x

Don’t start any new skincare routine with 4 weeks of your wedding as it can take that long to see any difference and new products can cause outbreaks. As people have said, book in to see a professional to discuss what you want to achieve and they can recommend products to you and advise you on how to achieve the best results.

Id eat healthier. Try bootea greens its like a shake .. its made my skin glow because i dont eat enough veg.. its ok putting lotions on yohr face but incorporating healthy eatting and fitness helps. also buy those fibre masks for sensitive skin there super hydrating.. and dont wash your face directly under shower or when its hot.. drink 8 glasses of water a day as well.. lot to take in but it works 😊

Temple Spa is amazing! I used to constantly try new products until I tried it and won’t touch anything else! Super starter set is about £69 with cleanser, toner, scrub and moisturiser. All natural ingredients, smells incredible and has won loads of awards. Here’s my consultants page if you want to take a look: http://www.templespa.com/samanthasmith xx

Have a look at your diet reduce sugar and increase water intake and lots of veg that will help. I only use Tropic skincare which has a 100% natural skincare range and is cruelty free. As others have said it can take 4 weeks for your skin to detox and see a difference so if you’re really close to your wedding day you may want to reconsider when you start a new skin routine

Body shop seaweed range is absolutely amazing. My blemishes and break outs have been majorly reduced. Plus they are completely cruelty free and do some pretty good deals if you sign up

I used to get eczema on my face and acne but since using Liz Earle cleanse and polish face wash my skin is great. Don't forget the power of staying hydrated too.

I recently bought Liz Earle products buy 3 get 2 free. I have the same skin as yourself and in 3 weeks I have noticed a massive change in my face! Apart from the expected breakout that comes with a change in products, that cleared up within a week x

Hi, Im a beauty therapist specialising in facials using Neals Yard Remedies and see amazing results. Facials start at £20 and I also retail the products. I prefer to do a facial so I can see how your skin reacts to different products and what will suit you best. Neals Yard Remedies is particularly good for sensitive skin as its organic and has no nasties that could irritate sensitive skin. My facebook page is Lake View Beauty and Holistic Therapies and my salon is based in Whitchurch, Shropshire.
