Can I ask what other brides to be are using as there some thing old, some thing blue, something borrowed, some thing new.

Something old and borrowed was a pin my mum had from her army days. Something blue was my knickers and something new was my shoes/dress.

I had Art Deco 1920's clip on diamanté bows on my shoes sent from USA via etsy , something borrowed was my bridesmaids granny's handkerchief with a bit of antique lace , something old was also the sixpence my bridesmaid brought for me .... Something blue was the black fire opal made into a heart necklace that I wore on the day ( titanic style) & a Wee blue bow on the inside of my wedding bra ...New was my wedding shoes , wedding skirt & top ...

Old and borrowed was my nanans ring that I wore, new was my dress, and I had a little blue ribbon tied to the inside of my dress because I forgot my something blue lol x

I borrowed a flower from my uncles wreath and placed it in my bouquet, blue was my knickers (make sure you get correct size! Mine fell down as I was walked out the venue )
New was my dress and old was the lucky sixpence in my shoe xx

I had an old sixpence for my shoe, a personalised blue garter, I borrowed my sister in laws (maid of honours) tiara from when she married my brother and new was lots of things like my jewellery/dress/underwear/shoes. Hope this helps and good luck

Something Old: the necklace my father gave me just before he died.

Something New: my dress.

Something Borrowed: my mums hand fan as it was the hottest day of the year.

Something Blue: a bracelet my husband bought me the day before he proposed.

Old was a picture of my grandparents on their wedding day attached to a charm and put on my bouquet without me knowing (my maid of honour gave it to my florist to attach and surprised me with it on the morning when the flowers were delivered) New was the dress, borrowed was my bridal jewellery and blue was my garter.

My something old and something blue is a jewellery set my great nana left when she passed, my grandpa has given me my grandmas watch when she passed away last month so no feel that is new but they are both with me then when my h2b and I get married, not sure for something borrowed though x

Old was great nanny's ring from my husbands side which I wore on my right hand, borrowed was a necklace from my mum, blue was a gem on the soles of my shoes and also my mil hand made me a garter with some blue on it and my new was my dress, hair piece, shoes etc X

My blue was the circlet in my hair, my new was a pandora bracelet with the wedding charm, old was my grandads wedding ring and borrowed was my husbands engagement ring, the two rings I placed on my pandora bracelet.

I don't understand using the dress as something new. People tend to buy their dresses months or years before their wedding. It's not new anymore. By the time the wedding day comes it's likely to have been tried on several times and altered to fit.

I borrowed my sisters veil for my wedding, the bridal shop had stitched something blue onto inside of my dress, my shoes and dress were new and both my mum (who walked me down the aisle) and I had charms with my dads pictures in attached to me shoes so he still walked me down the aisle x
