I adore my engagement ring and while it's not worth thousands I wouldn't be able to afford to replace at the drop of a hat. Have you purchased ring insurance seperately or put it through your contents insurance?
Mine is on home insurance. Cost £5 a month I think... less than mobile phone insurance and its worth a lot more!
Mines insured separately through the jeweller so if I lose a diamond it won't cost a fortune to replace x
