We are currently waiting to book our wedding when our son is old enough to be a proper part of our special day. At what age do you think is appropriate?

I very much think its down to the individual but i myself am going to be having my bridesmaids daughter as a flower girl and she will only be 18 months when we get married xx

I will have a 2 and half year old and a 15 month old. It's really upto you though. We will have help looking after our children as we have nieces and nephews that are too young to drink but old enough to look after ours. Congratulations cx

I donโ€™t think there is an age? Heโ€™s your son, so heโ€™ll be a โ€˜properโ€™ part of your wedding whatever age he is. However I wanted my girls to both be walking, our youngest will be 2.5 and our oldest will be 5 ๐Ÿ™‚

Our daughters are going to be 6 and 4 and then our baby sex unknown at the moment will be 11 months old and I've got my best friends 3 boys and her youngest is going to be 16 months old just depends in what you feel comfortable with, he could be a ring bearer but have someone chaparon him down the isle like a auntie or uncle x

My three year old daughter was our flower girl three weeks ago, she was amazing, she was a delight the whole day and finally fell asleep at 00:01

My sons will be 5 and 4, but our daughter will be 6 months ๐Ÿ˜… The boys will give us our rings and be a bit more involved but Iโ€™m just hoping littlest is somewhat quiet!

Our sons will be 4 and half 2 and half and our daughter will be 20 months old. She has jist currently started walking (15 months) and our eldest is going to be the ring bearer to. It depends on your own presence. Either way they will be a part of the bridal party. X

My oldest nephew will be 6 and our ring bearer ๐Ÿ˜

We booked ours January 2017 when I was 7 months pregnant for August 2019 when our little girl will be 2 and a half. Feels a long time to wait but we felt if it were this year, she'd be a bit young, only just walking etc and harder work for grandparents looking after her x

My son was 12 weeks old at our wedding and it worked pretty well. My godmothrr watched him during th3 ceremony. We timed feeding time whilst we were in the church and between the meal and our first dance we bathed him and put him into his pjs and he slept through the evening reception. We were lucky that it was the first time my mil met her grandson so she was determined she would watch him and we got to enjoy our wedding reception without too much stress. Plus he looked adorable in his little kilt! It's your wedding do what you want... My motto throughout the whole planning process is it's only a disaster if I don't end up married. Have a great day! X

You know your son better than anyone else; you also know the sort of role you want him to take on and how you want him to be involved...

My cousins twins will be pageboys for us and they will be 3. Think it depends on what role you want them to play xxx

My son will be almost 4 when we marry but even now at 2 1/2 he'd love it, I'd say any age as long as they are walking.

Definitely down to the personality of the child.. my sons will be 5 and 3 so can go either very smoothly or completely wrong ๐Ÿ˜‚.. Good Luck! Xx
