Hi everyone. We’re having our ceremony at 3pm (latest registrar will do it) and not having a wedding breakfast. We wanted to just go straight into the evening buffet reception. Ideally I wanted this to start around 6-7pm. The ceremony and reception is happening in the same place. I thought we could have our ceremony later than 3pm and suspect it will now all be finished by 4pm. Have other people done this and what did you do to fill the time between the ceremony finishing and the reception starting? Or did you start the reception that early? We intend to have about 20 people attend the ceremony and 70+ evening guests. What do people think? I’m panicking that it’s just going to be some weird lull in the middle!!!
