After looking at venues in our surrounding areas . We are starting to seriously consider destination wedding. I'm a bit of a control freak and my partner only like to deal with people face to face. So we don't know where to start other than everyone seems to advise against big travel agents. Help and advice is greatly appreciated
I'd suggest somewhere like Trailfinders - I'm not sure if they can help organise the actual wedding side but they were brilliant when we booked our honeymoon with them.
I can highly recommend Ionian Weddings. I completely get the control freak side of things when it comes to a wedding. The great thing about a destination wedding is that usually the place is so beautiful that you don't need to worry too much about the little things like decorations
The national wedding show is that the nec this weekend with the hall next-door for destination wedding and honeymoons. Even if you can't visit check out who's exhibiting there?
Cyprus dream weddings are doing ours. I would recommend them.
Is there anywhere you’ve visited that you like? We chose Portugal as we’d been there and loved it. We did visit twice (once to choose a venue and again to meet suppliers) but we really didn’t need to we just wanted an excuse for a holiday. There is so much available online these days and everything is done via email anyway so you don’t need to worry. We have 6 weeks to go and everything is going well
We’ve booked Rhodes through unforgettable Rhodes weddings. They have UK meeting days
We are booking..planning it ourselves in Dominican Republic x
I've booked my wedding through Thomas cook but all my wedding planning has been done with the wedding coordinator for the hotel we've chosen abroad & so far it's going really well xx
I've booked mine through perfect weddings abroad and so far so good! Xx
