Do any of you lovely brides have advice about bridal lingerie? I wear a 32G and it’s bad enough trying to find just a regular bra, let alone a backless or strapless one to suit the style of dress I like. For both of these I think I could use clear straps. But any advice is much appreciated. Due to the size I’m not really comfortable going without my bra.

Clear straps would be most comfortable.. or my sister suggested breast tape to me.. maybe an idea to try and see how that feels for you?

Some seamstresses can sew the cups in you actually take a bra to them and they sew it in for you xx

I have the same problem. I've bought a strapless bra for mine, which I might buy some clear straps for... but I can get away with no straps if I wanted. My dress is a corset back which I'm going to have done up really tight (but not uncomfortable). You could always go clear straps and a shawl?

For my wedding shoot, i bought some stick on cup pads from primark, worked really well. Not sure what size they go up to though.

I would also suggest seeing if your seamstress can sew one into your dress :) xxx

I have a similar issue and the seamstress is sewing in a bra for me and has had success doing previously!

Unfortunately the stick on bras are really only good on anything under a C so they will be no good for you. Looks like either clear straps or, my preference would be, get a seamstress to put in a bra. I chose a dress where I could wear my normal bra as I am also top heavy.

Lots of dresses have built in cups, my dress does and it’s great. If not then I have read lots of people have had cups put into their dresses, worth an ask!

I bought a cheap strapless bra, cut off the back and then sewed the cups in myself. Was absolutely perfect didn’t budge all day!

Try debenhams - I'm a 34f and I bought a lovely bridal bra from their collection - it was beautiful, comfortable and very secure!

Lots of dresses have boning sewn in so you don’t need a bra.

I got told most dresses have the support built into them so I wouldnt need to wear a bra.

I would try the clear straps & go to bridal shop & try 1 on... Nothing worse than setting you heart on something to find it doesnt work for your shape.. I am only a 40DD but have had issues finding the right bra... My dress is strapless & I have had to cut my corset down at the back, so its not visible above the top....

I’m a 36G-GG depending on the bra. I raised my worries about not wearing a bra (my dress has a low back) and I was assured once you are in and it fits you properly, you shouldn’t need one. You could also ask for the seamstress so sew cups into the dress.

Hi, I'm the same size as you and I'm getting my dress fitted so I don't need a bra as I found the bras were all really expensive and not in very nice styles, plus I don't feel comfortable in strapless as I don't feel they support me enough. Ask your seamstress if there is anything they can do for support or advise you on other options :)

I’m a 30 G and my dress was completely backless! Had no bra at all just a very good seamstress!

There is a product called perky pairs, I used them for my backless dress and they were amazing. It takes some practice at your fittings as they are basically giant plasters but they stayed in place all day x

I’m the same size got one from m and s, £25, strapless or can have the clear straps. It fits really well, only ever been to bravissimo, so was very surprised. 😀

Amazon do the clear back extension that wrap around your waist, they just clip on to a normal bra. I bought a set but ended up not needing them x

I was the same bra size as you when I got married and went braless with my backless dress. in my opinion clear straps/back bras look tacky! you could have cups seen into your dress for extra support

Its taken me months yo find something I like although I'm not as big as some I still had to go online to find some nice bits x

Some bridal shops can sew in cups and support so you feel supported but without the bra straps. Worth asking them when you go shopping

Hi I am the same size and I got mine from bravissimo. Strapless and extremely comfortable. Xx

If you try on a corset it has bra cups and is strapless. Perfect if you don’t want to trust the cups in the dress to do the job.

Exactly the same size as you, backless dress bought and getting the cups sewn into the dress

Most of the dresses have inbuilt bras, or your seamstresses would be able to put one in for you x
