Mine was £60.00 from House of Fraser in the sale. Our reception was free because we had it in the beer festival tent at the pub that we met in.

Depending on where you are based there is a great charity in exeter called la boutique. All dresses are under £500 and all money raised goes towards organising weddings for terminally ill couples

My dress was £599 from wed2b. We're having a very low budget wedding but even though my dress was cheaper than most to me that was the only thing I've spent out on x

It depends on what your budget is! If you want traditional then you could look at outlet stores or bankrupt stocks! Alternatively department stores will have sales which you can get really amazing bargains
My dress cost £145:00, reduced from £550 in Debenhams. It was untraditional- silver grey lace fishtail evening dress! I love it still & the beauty for me is that I can wear it again- if I wanted too for another occasion
Good luck with your search

Try secondhand? You can get a bargain from sites selling preowned. I'm trying to sell my unworn unaltered dress on one.

Gemma Barrington

Totally depends on what you like and what you want. I wouldn’t worry about how much it costs (as in, there shouldn’t be a minimum you’d pay) as long as you like it. Go to some sample sales for some bargains. Also Oxfam have anwedding shop in London I think so may get a cheap dress there if you’re close by.
