What is your opinion on videographers?
If they are good they often catch the perfect moments creating a forever memory
I think they are lovely for the bride and groom to watch but to be honest I hate the way people seem to think you want to watch their wedding from start to finish when you visit. Just my opinion.
I love the fact they capture every moment. My sister in law had one. Made me well up watching the first few minutes. But it's not for me. I would rather an album xx
I have the same questions, not sure on what to expect!!
I think it was the best last minuet decision I made! I would recommend 100% can recommend someone if you require recommendations
Best decision I made go for it x
No thank you X
We chose not to have one. I didn't want to spend money on something hat we would only look at once and then it would live in a draw. The day after the wedding, instant regret! We would have loved to have something to look back on and remember the bits we forgot or see the bits we missed (even if it was only the once!). Definitely consider getting one!
Never wanted one. But so glad I had one in the end.. love it with the photos.
From a brides point of view it was lovely to see the guests arrive and see their faces when they entered the ceremony room. Also my husband could see me arrive at the venue and my nerves before I entered the ceremony xx the videographer we had was a husband and wife team
I'd LOVE one, but it's way out of our budget 😢😢😢😢
100% having one, pictures are great but there is so much to take in and a video will capture that. I loved watching my parent wedding video as a child and would love my children to experience that x
We weren't going to have one because I didn't like any of the ones I looked at. Then I got an email from wedding connexions with a company called look back and remember & I loved their work. I was really lucky because they did an autumn offer before we booked so we got their second package with 2 videographers for the price of their 1st package which was £899
I love them i think it makes your day so personal xx
Essential, but that is my opinion. I can't wait to see the result of mine as there's so much I know I didn't and couldn't see. Photography and videography was one of the things we said we would be spending on and wouldn't compromise on. The couple that did our wedding were amazing. Guests have said they barely knew they were there, some even forgot they were there.
We are having one just for the arrival of the guests and bride. The ceremony, signing the register then leaving for the reception. For me it will be lovely to watch over and over again me and my fiancé saying our vows and capturing the walking up the isle and pronouncing us husband and wife. Something to keep and cherish forever and to show our kids when they are older. We are having the bronze package which is £400 which in my opinion is very reasonable for something you can keep forever x
We are not having one. Would be nice to have one but in my opinion just too much money. Would rather save money and just get a photographer
I think they're a must if you can afford it. Good ones will capture most of your day, and it's something to be able to relive it all again! Photos are great, but they aren't the same
I think if you can afford it then go for it. I didn't have one, but a family friend filmed if (I didn't even release he was filing throughout the day lol!) and i love watching it. but Your budget doesn't stretch then don't worry about it. If you have a decent photographer they will capture all the wonderful moments in pictures. Xx
We are having one as i want certain bits of the day captured on film. Ours films throughout day and montages it into a half hr film with music but we then get all the speeches and ceremony etc on a disc too. We can also download the footage filmed too. My Fiance really wanted it. I wasnt to bothered until i watched a few. Realised it was a lovely addition to beautiful pictures. Also our photographer is our friend so is a guest too so he doesnt have to take pics of speeches as they will be filmed. Felt that way he can enjoy our day too xx
100%
The day is full of emotion and when I watched the video back there was so much captured. And the speeches/ vows etc fab to watch back.
If you don't have the budget try your best def worth it!
im having one. my reason could be different. my family is in the philippines and only my parents are able to come to our wedding in London. a video would be the best way for them to see us and this special moment on top of photos.
I'm going to ask a couple of people to record the ceremony and speeches as a videographer is beyond our budget.
It was the first thing I booked! Nothing beats seeing the day in motion rather than just in stills. Videography has come on leaps and bounds in the last few years. They are like little movies. They are not just camcorders stuck at the side. I couldn't think of not having one! Mine are £1500 and are fantastic
Love them!!!!
I am having one. I've been married before to a horrid man. I dreaded the day and hated my entire day..
This time I can't wait.. and I have lost some family lately so I'm having one this time. I want to capture the moments I'll miss having photos etc but also people's voices, jokes laughter etc...
Paul Eckloff Photography is doing my wedding. Looked his reviews up and videos on utube.. they don't all mean much to me but then I don't know the people in them.. image it's your friends and family in the videos and see how you feel x
I don’t think we will bother! Can’t imagine when we would watch it!!! Can’t wait for my wedding album though. That said I know people who would say it was one of the best investments on the day! So guess it a personal preference thing xx
Best thing we did was get a videographer it’s lovely to watch back a re live the day all over again ..... iv watched mine more than iv looked at my photographs x
We're not bothering...spending more on great photographers
If you can put it in your budget, do it. We didn’t and I regret it
