Who do I need to provide flowers for? We are having 23 day guests, I’m having a bouquet, bridesmaids x2 are having wrist corsages, flower girls x2 are having wands, groom is having button hole.... do I need to also include fathers, mothers, grandparents, best man?? If I do then most of my wedding party will have flowers. Help!

Generally both fathers and the best man will also have buttonholes.

We didn't have flowers or buttonholes. I had a broach bouquet, my MOH had a feather bouquet and two little bridesmaids had feather wands. My two older maids and the groomsmen (including groom) didn't have anything. It's completely up to you.

We made buttonholes for all our days guests, there were 30 of us at the ceremony, we just thought it was a nice gesture but if we had been buying not making them I'm not sure we could have afforded it!! Xx

A buttonhole for mothers, fathers, wedding party isn't unusual. Doesn't have to be flowers though! X

Fathers and bestman usually have button holes. If both parents have helped out as well it might be nice to get some thank you flowers for your mum and MIL for when you’re doing the speeches xx

Other than what you’ve already done, the groomsmen and fathers and mothers should cover it, if anyone else wants them they can buy their own

I made bouquets for myself and my three bridesmaids. Buttonholes for groom, best man and my dad and my mum's long standing friend (my mother died in '97) had a large vintage brooch to match mine and the bridesmaids.
