Hi guys and girls. I have a colour scheme of red, purple and gold. The red I want is the darker shade (more burgundy) than the lighter brighter red as I think it looks more christmassy. I have bought some roses to use for the table decorations. And I’m still toying with the idea of making my own bouquets. The table decoration roses are the darker shade (smaller ones in pic). But, my main issue is.. my future mother in law is making me a shrug. Which will be red (also in below picture) I don’t know if I can get away with - the darker red roses in a bouquet (if I’m making my own) to match the shrug - my cake stand and table decoration to have the darker shade and my bouquet to have a brighter shade (similar to the bigger rose in the picture). - or would I be better off mixing the two shades of red. Sorry this is a bit of a long one. Thank you in advance. Xx

Hi I would use red and gold but leave out the purple it will clash. Stick to the colour you have chosen table decorations and the slightly brighter rose for your bouquets. You could use some white roses with touches of gold .:)
