What should I do with my short nails? I'm used to having verrrrry short nails because of the ol' piano playing and I don't like the feeling of having long nails anymore but they look HIDEOUS. What sort of things can I do to short nails (they're also a stumpy shape, mind) to make them look nice for the big day?

I also have this issue ( being a nurse) however I have found the power of a really good shellac French manicure. Your nails look elegant and it gives the impression that they are a little longer x

How long have you got before the wedding day? You could grow them a little (not too long) and then do the shellac or gel in french manicure.

My wedding won't be until October so I have plenty of time but I don't like the feeling of having long nails. Just wondering what sort of options I have to make them look good. Fake french manicure sounds like a good option right now. Thanks for everyone's advice!

I have to have mine short for netball. I keep them at a length where you can't see the nail over the finger (with nails pointed away) which means you can't feel them either when (e.g.) playing the piano. Maybe just try growing you nails 1/2mm longer and see how you feel. A shellac French manicure is a great on any length nail if you decide you can't have your nails any longer than you do now.
