when is best to send our save the dates out? we are getting married the first Saturday of next summer holidays 'July 19' (a teacher with lots of teacher guests!)
Hi ABOUT 6-8 months before :)
Send your save the dates a year before and the invites 6 months before.
Definitely 6 months before 😀
Send them out as soon as you can... Some VERY organised people can book things up quite a long time in advance!
Now, if you really want them there. Don’t risk them booking a summer holiday! Sooner the better, then the invites can be done whenever closer xx
I'm sending mine 16 months before the wedding. I get married July 2020
I sent mine as soon as it was booked...18months in advance. I only sent them to family tho so they could make sure holidays booked etc from work.
Ours have already gone out and we get married June 2019
I’ve already sent mine and I’m getting married August 2019, didn’t want people booking holidays xx
Sending them too early people will forget im getting married in august this year only booked in Nov im sending my save the dates out next week
At least six months before :) www.etsy.com/shop/jessharringtondesign
Don’t bother. Just send the invites out nice an early.
I would say anytime now and up to a year before.
I’m a teacher and I got married in the summer holidays. I sent my save the dates out 10 months in advance, but I’d recommend up to 12. Just be prepared that a few people can’t come because they obviously book holidays then.
I'm a teacher and got married in the Christmas holidays. I sent my 'save the date' cards out the year before.
Just send them now or any time soon, the whole point is to give people the date so they can save it. That way you can take your time with the invites when everything is confirmed 👍
I did mine to arrive a year to the day x
We’re getting married may bank holiday next year and I’m sending them now, we’re doing it on a sea side village and I know places are already taking bookings
We are sending our two years before 🙂 then invites one year before. With some added treats in between x
I've just sent mine and the wedding is Aug 2019. As it's summer holidays we wanted to give people as much notice as possible. We also have a lot of overseas guests who may need to plan/budget accordingly if they choose to come.
