Send your save the dates a year before and the invites 6 months before.

Send them out as soon as you can... Some VERY organised people can book things up quite a long time in advance!

Now, if you really want them there. Don’t risk them booking a summer holiday! Sooner the better, then the invites can be done whenever closer xx

I would say anytime now and up to a year before.

I’m a teacher and I got married in the summer holidays. I sent my save the dates out 10 months in advance, but I’d recommend up to 12. Just be prepared that a few people can’t come because they obviously book holidays then.

I'm a teacher and got married in the Christmas holidays. I sent my 'save the date' cards out the year before.

Just send them now or any time soon, the whole point is to give people the date so they can save it. That way you can take your time with the invites when everything is confirmed 👍

I've just sent mine and the wedding is Aug 2019. As it's summer holidays we wanted to give people as much notice as possible. We also have a lot of overseas guests who may need to plan/budget accordingly if they choose to come.
