I would just suggest that it is not too close to the wedding (i.e. like the week before) incase of any mishaps (particularly if alcohol is involved)

Mine is 2 weeks before due to time constraints. It depends what you want to do and where I would think. If you're doing something like paintballing I'd suggest a month before at the latest so any bruises can fade. Totally your choice though, it's your hen do!

My wedding was in October last year and I had one in May and one in August I think it's just personal preference I was also very busy doing a house renovation so felt it less stressful having them earlier in the year

It depends on what you want to do. If it's going away somewhere or doing a potentially dangerous activity I'd give it as long as possible but definitely at least the week before not the night before to avoid 'tiredness' or potential damage (eyebrows take longer to grow back than you think). Me and the hubby had different dates, but my best friends had a shared sten do. Do the activity you want to do though or lay down ground rules if someone else is organising!

Mine is 3 weeks before but I'm suggesting my H2B has his 6 weeks before to allow for broken bones or shaved heads... I know his friends hahaha

At least 6 weeks before. It allows time for broken bones and black eyes to heal and hair to grow back. 🤣

I'm glad my h2b's stag is a month before. Time for his eyebrows to grow back ;) my hen is before his so plenty of time for me to recover too!

I'm having mine about 4 months before. Wouldn't do it very close to the wedding in case of mishaps and definitely not the night before, you want to wake up glowing rather than dry

I'm glad I did mine ahead of time because the closer you get to the wedding day the more stressed you may become = Trying to remember the list of all jobs to be completed !!!!
So I organised my own hen weekend away in May & a hen night in June .....wedding was 2nd September .....
Worked out for me.
Warm wishes for your Special day xx

It's all personal preference, our wedding in end of August but Hen weekend is end of June as it was cheaper than July or August. Plus helps spread out the celebrations 🥂

I had one in May and one in August. My wedding was October but there was so much DIY stuff to do close to the time it worked out very well. Oh and I had a house to renovate

I'm having mine I'm May and we are getting married in August. The only reason for this is I'm going to see the dream boys and that the only show they are doing in my area or it would have been a different amount of time from the wedding x

Because of my shifts patterns I’ve had to give my moh 4 weekends that’s I am off from March to June next year so she has options lol I don’t know which ones it will happen on until it happens ... there will be plenty of suspense on each of those weekends
