I like to organise things. My wedding isn't until 2020 but would you suggest spreading the cost and buy little items, I.E table decorations now?
My wedding is 2019 and i have been buying things since we got engaged, but I check my Pinterest and mood boards to make sure they are exactly what I want so I don't change my mind and they go wasted.
May I suggest you choose your venue first as that can make a big difference to what little things you buy because they may supply a lot. For instance, I was going to buy a lot of tea-light holders but the venue supplies them so that saved me almost £100. Also, with suppliers ... one cake maker didn't supply a stand so I was looking at the costs of buying one (and originally when I had been looking at an M&S cake) but the lady we have gone with loans a beautiful solid silver one so that was another £50 I don't have to spend.
Mine is 2020 and instead of buying anything and maybe changing my mind and wasting the money we are just putting the money away every month. However if i see some random bits too good not to buy (like signs) i will get them out my monthly pay and not my savings
I am thinking the same we want to get married 2020 so gunna take your advice susan an find venue first for them reasons thank you xxx
Hi
My wedding is in May 2020 , but i have managed to organise most things in advance.
I've been doing the same I've also booked and almost paid for the cars and cake.
If your 100% set on your theme and decoration then there is no reason why not.
