HELP! Struggling for food for the day meal. Getting married in July. We would love to have a 3course meal- parfait, roast and apple pie (other option is vegetarian!) sort of meal but it’s working out too much for 120 people. Can you give me ideas of food that won’t work out too much as well as food that would suit July weather. Thanks!

We're having a 3 course carvery which is cheaper but they still serve it as silver service rather than all queing up like a buffet. Does your venue cater, youd be best talkig to them to see what they can offer or are you fetching it in from outside companies? You could also look at food vans too they're quirky and save on monies!

Why don't you try ham salad and boiled potatoes

You could do table platters in the style of afternoon tea for guests to nibble on before mains would save a lot in price aswell x

Maybe see if your venue offers a BBQ style menu? Buffets tend to end up a bit cheaper

We've gone for 2 courses and a cupcake wedding cake, so cupcakes will be given out as 'pudding'. And as we have a hog roast in evening we feel its plenty of food
