I used to work as a wedding coordinator and majority of our weddings started at 3pm. I would suggest the following timings: ceremony: 3pm, drinks reception and photos: 3.30pm-5pm, wedding breakfast and speeches: 5pm-7pm, evening guest arrival: 7.30pm (gives you a bit of spare time in case anything runs late), cake cutting and first dance: 8pm. I am also having my ceremony at 3pm :)

We had ceremony at 2pm, canapés and champagne served after the ceremony 2.30pm ish. Singer 3-4pm while we did photos. Dinner served 4.30pm and finished at 6.30, speeches included in this time.
Half hour gap for guests to freshen up (a lot of our guests travelled 150 miles or more)
7.00 evening guests arrived, 7.30pm cake cutting, 8pm first dance, 9pm buffet served and DJ finished at midnight.
Everything ran on time as well, I was so impressed with the wedding coordinators! :-)
