Hi all I was wondering when did people know they’d brought the right wedding ring. I’ve seen some nice ones but I don’t know what/which one to pick. Thank you in advance
You just know when the one you want is right. We saw ours on-line but they needed to be bespoke made in Ireland and we didn't want to order without physically seeing them. We went and I fell in love with the sample. OH was obviously not so sure about the one he liked on-line. We had another look and found one he loved. We now have both rings and the real items are so much better than we could have imagined. Good luck in your hunt.

Funnily enough, I've just been talking about rings. Me and the OH looked at rings on Wednesday. I always assumed I would want a diamond encrusted ring to match/compliment my engagement ring which is also very blingy. However it was the plain gold band which really sets off my engagement ring. They look great together, it really surprised me. What I'm trying to say is - try on different styles, different thicknesses etc. And you'll hopefully find the right one for you!
We had ours made at Harriet Kelsall. They're white gold bands with intertwined Ss and utterly beautiful.
I went for a simple yellow gold band as did my husband
We looked at loads before we found the ones. Me especially. All i can say is...when you know. You know. I think its like getting ur wedding dress 2bh. You just get that feeling n u know its the one 4 u. I fell in love with one that was 900 pounds (white gold) and i just couldnt stop thinking about it. I wasnt gonna pay that so found the ring somewhere else for half the price and just had to have it. I wasnt happy with anything else! Good luck =) xx
Whatever one you think looks best with your engagement ring.. I had my heart set on one, tried it on and it looked awful beside my engagement ring.. I ended up picking a much cheaper one thinking it wouldn’t look right but when I tried it on it was lovely!!
I thought I was really going to struggle finding one I liked as my engagement ring is very unusual in every way 🙈 but my partner got it spot on and knew exactly what I’d like as I’m a pearl girl not a diamond kind and I absolutely love it!!! The band I ended up going for looks just fine, so I’m happy 🙂
Mine was easy - didn't want anything fancy, so got a lovely plain white gold band which matched my engagement ring.
Really pleased with my design of platinum with wee tiny diamonds , simple & arty ....made especially for me in Oxfordshire for only £300 .....
I had mine made by the jeweller as I wanted 18 CT rose gold. The plain band looks fabulous against my engagement ring. Be open to trying on lots of different types
I think you need to see them in person and try them on to make sure you love it and that it looks good with the engagement ring.
I worried about this too. Then I found the one. I put it on and I couldn't feel it on. Then when I took it off I felt I was missing something. Always a good sign x
Just try loads on! Take pics of different styles and take some time to look through the pics and see what you like best! For me it was easy, I love sparkly things, so thin diamond band was what I wanted from the off and it took me no time at all to find one I loved (in fact I loved loads of them! Kid in candy shop!) Good luck! You will find something you love xx
The right wedding ring should make your engagement ring stand out xx that’s what I was told when shopping for rings and since have found the perfect one xx just got to book the day now ;) xx good luck to finding your ring xx
We’ve had ours custom made and they weren’t overly expensive
I would shop around till you feel it’s the right rings for good . Can even get them custom made x
My dad is going to make my wedding rings out of welsh gold (his hobby is panning for gold!) so me and my OH will most likely have simple gold plain bands to match
