Hi about 6 months before would be the best time :)

Hi, I wouldn't send them out just yet as people may either misplace them or accidentally throw them. I will be sending mine out a year before and our caterers want final figures 4 weeks before but I would personally ask people to RSVP 4-3 months before as some guests take ages to reply if at all :)

I would say send them out 3-6 months prior to your wedding. I gave people 3 months to RSVP and where most got back to me within that time I was still chasing quite a few people up on the last day - no matter whenyou set the deadline for there are always a few you have to chase. My wedding is in Feb but I wanted to have all my RSVPs back before Christmas so I had xmas holidays to get everything done :)

I'm sending out save the dates a year before and then invites a few months before. If you want people to be informed then save the dates will be your best bet. It's an American tradition but it means people have tons of time to book days off work and such. We used magnets so people won't lose them :)

Hi, I’m getting married I April 2018 and only just sending invites now, and even this feels a bit early. Depends on when you need to give numbers by. X

I sent out save the dates a year in advance due to international guests. We're sending out invites5.5 months early and asking for RSVPs 8 weeks before the wedding to give us 2 weeks to chase up and hopefully have numbers and menus 6 weeks before the big day. I agree that STDs would be better than invites at your stage you don't want to risk ppl putting them by the side to deal with mater because it's so early then forgetting!
