Hi you can certainly start looking at venues :)

You may be able to provisionally book some places x

If you’re able to and are happy 100% with the place and date then I don’t see why not. Some places you might be able to secure 2017/2018 prices. Just enquire :)

My wedding is 2020 once Christmas is over we are going to be looking and hopefully booking a venue next year. As Stephen said above some places will offer this or next years prices x

You can start to look into ideas and you may be able to provisionally book but I think it depends on the supplier and how far in advance they keep their bookings open for.

Not at all- If you find where you want to get married why not!

The only thing to consider is wedding insurance as most don't let you get it until 2 years before. If you book a venue and it goes bust in the meantime you could lose your deposit. I would look to see if you can find any insurance packages that would cover you before booking. I booked mine just over two years before and had to wait a few months to get it.
