What style wedding dress are you planning on buying? If you've got yours already was it the style you had originally wanted?
I originally thought I would choose a lace, off shoulder, 3/2 length sleeve mermaid dress. Instead I have gone for a princess like A line dress with lace straps. Basically I went for what I originally thought I didn't want lol
Mine was exactly the style I had seen and liked- which apparently is rare.
I want a princess with straps (Big boobs and hips) so i think best style for me and the ones i tried on looked good :)
I am going for fishtail but it was no even in my thoughts! When you try them on, it’s so surprising! When you know you know! 😊
Completely different. I wanted a fish tail dress or a mermaid one and it’s completely different xx
Completely different what I went with in mind looked horrible x
Mine was exactly what I wanted and was looking for so when I tried it on I knew it was the one I did try a few different after just to be sure though, but I know I made right decision x
Lace, strapless, A-line... complete opposite to what I imagined myself in 😂 but I’m in loooveee 😍 definitely try some different stuff on, it may surprise you x
My dress happened to be on my dream dress Pinterest board I had all sorts of styles on there but I knew the second I put it on that it was the one
I got the style I had hoped for! But I tried most styles just to make sure lol
I got a totally different style I was initially looking at. It was the first dress I tried on loved it x
I ended up buying the dress I'd seen online before we even decided to pick a date and get married. I tried others but this was the one ❤ it's from Grace Loves Lace.
Nothing like it.... I didn't want strapless and I thought I wanted some sort of sleeves and I expected to like more modern styles and I hated the idea of having any sort of train.
I ended up buying a really heavy A line dress covered in vintage looking antique lace, it was also strapless had a huge train!!
The only thing I got right was I didn't think I would want a veil and when I tried a few on with my dress I didn't like any of them so stuck to no veil :-)
Be open minded when trying dresses on, and have fun :-) Sometimes the ladies in the shop can tell what you will like and what suits you better than you think :-) X
Yup and yup.. always saw myself in something fitted however I thought I wanted loads of lace and I ended up going for something very plain at the front but very detailed at the back and I LOVE my dress!! Cannot wait to wear it and walk down that aisle ❤️
I got a style completely the opposite to what I wanted , the style I had in mind I didn’t suit at all.. true what they say don’t rule anything out they always look different on they don’t always look nice on the hanger
I always wanted a skirt & a top so I could wear again with different coloured tops & bottoms .... Took a year & a half 2 Locate as Mainly all dresses !! .....
Everyone said I looked Stunning so delighted with the outcome ....
Am looking to have mine made as I don’t want a traditional dress
I wanted a-line and not strapless and that’s what I’ve bought
I always thought I would have a very fitted dress but I have gone the complete opposite way
Absolutely not lol! I didn't think I'd have a-line, satin or strapless but it was perfect. We added off the shoulder sleeves and a brooch to make it more me. Until you start trying dresses on I would say to try and be open minded. It was lovely to wear something that was so different to what I normally wear
I'm thinking a-line, but I'll try different styles on as you can't really tell what suits you just looking at pictures or while they're on the hangers
Yes, mine is exactly what I'd envisioned. I hadn't committed to it in case it didn't look right, but it's perfect and fits perfectly too! :D
this was mine...lace at front..
Mine is the complete opposite. I originally planned on having mine made, and it being very floaty and unique, but I went and tried some on and fell in love with a strapless a-line, lot of lace, ivory and gold xx
I have no idea. Not very girlie so when I start shopping I am going to try on loads of different styles. I keep thinking I have loads of time. But next 19months will go in quick 😣😣
I've just seen this I absolutely love it but this isn't my dress for the wedding lol mine is going to have purple sections on an a-line dress
I wanted boho a-line style. Brought one and then brought another which is ‘the one’ completely different-glam, fitted, sophisticated.
Mine was the complete opposite to what I thought I wanted. Mines strapless A line, really pretty and sparkly. I thought I wanted something more fitted and elegant.
I'm thinking fish tail! That's all I know right now! But I think when I go for my first appointment on the 5th Jan I will be completely thrown and change direction completely. I think its best to go in with an open mind! xx
