Is it weird to have tropical flowers for an autumn wedding? I'd like silk bird of paradise for the orange colour. Will it look too out of season?

I think it would love lovely and you don't have to be seasonal. It what you want. Just make sure the florist can get them at that time of year (I have no idea about flowers and when you can get hold of certain ones)

Sounds lovely. Would you be using silk flowers tho as not all types of flowers are available all year round x

Have whatever flowers you want hunny ! There’s no rules ! I think the seasonal flowers come from a time when florists couldn’t get hold of certain species in the different seasons ... I had all kinds in mine and did them myself ... I used artificial so I could spend time learning how to do them lol then I finished them months before the wedding boxes them up and forgot about it until the day before which is great ... the artificial bOp flowers can be really good too

Orange is an autumnal colour anyway so I think it would look fine

Unless you invite a bunch of florists I don't think anybody will notice or care about the season of the flowers.

Everything I look at or like looks Christmassy and I’m getting married on Easter Sunday so I was worried the photos wouldn’t look right but to be honest it’s what we want so we’re going with it!
