I'd say 30 mins max

I personally don't like the idea of having to travel more than 20 - 30 minutes as it becomes a pricey taxi and eats into the day x

30 mins max, otherwise it’s going to feel like a lot of traveling once people have got to the ceremony it’s self that doesn’t last to long it’s self if you have a registry office and then would be moving again.

We attended a wedding last Christmas’s with just over an hours drive from church to reception venue. Made it a long tedious journey. We chose to stay in a local hotel so by the time we checked in and then got a taxi to the reception we were bordering being late.

Ours is 40 mins but reception venue is a hotel and the majority of guests will be staying there. Once the church to reception journey is done everyone can kick back and relax

Tbh, I think if you friends and family want to be there they will be there. Our wedding was about 40mins away from us, but my family mostly traced abut 4 hours to come. I also was a bridesmaid earlier this year and traveled nearly 2 hours to get there. If it's your dream venue then go for it and don't worry about everyone else. Xx

Ours is all in one place. I’m staying at the hotel the night before and staying there the night after... so I won’t need transport wooo!

I agree - I would keep it 20-30 mins max
