I'm posting my invites for July 2018 in January so they have just over 6 months to prepare for it :) x

Depends if you have sent save the dates or not. If not, the sooner the better as it's obviously holiday time. If you have, then it comes down to when your venue want final numbers / menu choices. We sent ours out about 3 months before and requested responses a month later. Gave us around a month to chase up :) x

Try to aim to get responses by March April to give you time to chase, so I would say Jan/Feb or save postage and send them with the Xmas cards ;-)

We sent ours out about 6/7 weeks before the wedding. Everyone knew our wedding date well in advance. Needed meal choices by 1 week before so asked for RSVPs back 3 weeks before so i had some time to chase people up.

I’m getting married in April 2018 and haven’t been able to send out the invites yet. There are a few things we need to sort out before I sent them. So now given the time I’ve decided to send out the week after Christmas. Most people know the date anyway and gives me time to collect addresses and things! I haven’t sent save the dates, but I might send a reminder in Christmas cards

Traditionaly it was always 6-8 weeks before. But now folk do save the date a year before and invites anything from 6 months. I think 2-3 months though.

Our wedding is July 2018, invites went out end of August. We have people coming from all over and there’s no accommodation at the venue so plenty of time to book up x

If you're sending save the dates send them as soon as possible ( we've sent our save the dates already for august 2018), then invites about March, if no save the dates I'd say about January latest
