Hello, I was just wondering if anyone has got jewellery insurance for their engagement and/or wedding rings? I would like to get mine ensured and not sure the best way to go about it. Is it best to get separate insurance or will contents insurance do? Can anyone recommend any affordable jewellery or contents insurers with good cover?

I checked this and mine is covered with my contents insurance. If it isn't covered with yours most companies would add this to your policy as a named item.

Depending on your insurance and value, it can added to your contents insurance x

You can have your rings added to your contents insurance. Most policies would also put them under all risks depending upon the value. Best phone your insurer.

I insured mine separately with TH March who specialise in wedding jewellery. For £50 a year I felt it was worth it and if anything happens I get to go back to my ring designer and get a replacement, some home insurers will give you vouchers for a high street shop.

Hi, my engagement ring is insured by TH March. They were recommended by the jewellers and were very reasonably priced. I will insure our wedding rings with these also.
