Hi, I’m seeing this happen also. Yellow is also my favourite colour but anyone I ask seems to like the idea but is scared they’ll be washed out. I had a buttercup yellow prom dress and I did need a tan to stop looking washed out. Have them try them on, that’s what I’m doing and at the end of the day it is your day and they have to support you on your choice, and if you’re set on yellow and like it on them, just explain that this is your theme colour.

I've seen pictures of some pale yellow bridesmaids and think they look lovely.
Maybe you need to go try dresses on and hopefully they will change their minds but I think you should stick with it if its the colour you want.

My best friend put her bridesmaids in different colours and I knew from the start she would pick me for yellow. I wasn't happy at the start but got on with it as it was her wedding and not mine. It turned out with a tan the yellow looked beautiful and I am so glad I wore it! x

I've seen many bridesmaids in yellow and it looks nice. I personally look terrible in yellow as I am so pale. I would show them examples of ones you like and perhaps try different shades.

Hi they definitely need to try them on. I'm a red head with yellow tone skin so yellow really doesn't suit me! But if I was bridesmaid n that's what she wanted I would wear it no matter what as it's her day x

Stick to your colour as it's your day. I told my sister everything that I didn't want in a dress as her maid of honour which was horizontal stripes and a boob tube dress (as I hate my arms) and she went and got a dress like that anyways. I wasn't upset with her as it was her day and that's her choice I just had to have a couple more glasses of champagne that morning. Stick to your guns it's your wedding your choice. Hope that helps.

I have chosen yellow and silver as my colours the girls i am going to ask to be my bridesmaids are my cousins they know I have chosen these colours but they do not know I am going to ask them to be bridemaids yet and if they say they do not like or even suit the colours then i just will not have bridesmaids simple as that x

I would take them to try on yellow dresses in a bridal store so they can see it for themselves and what it looks like on. They maybe surprised with how it actually looks.
