I don’t know if I’m being silly or a bridezilla but I feel like I cannot be excited about my wedding because I’ve told a few family members of when, where and what we are having and are now being told that a few others are taking our ideas. I was even told at a family gathering that my cousin only got engaged because he saw I was the first grandchild for my nan to do so and he wants to beat me to a wedding so I’m not the first. Wedding planning is suppose to be a happy time but I feel I cannot express my excitement in front of some family members just incase our weddings are very similar. Am I being silly for being so frustrated?
You aren't being silly. I feel as though I can't talk about it to certain family members and friends. I think half of it jealousy and they aren't excited or happy for me and some people I know who are also married have copied some of my ideas.

That's so terrible for all of you. Maybe because I am an older bride my friends are either married or not going to so are really excited for me and definitely not in a position to copy my ideas.
Not being silly at all- its rather pathetic that your cousin wants to do that.
Just keep all your ideas to yourself and make your wedding day how you want it to be. Don't worry about anyone else and it will be perfect for the two of you
