I am getting married in a local hotel next year and the wedding coordinator...

I am getting married in a local hotel next year and the wedding coordinator recommends evening food for 75% of evening guests. Has anyone with similar experiences found this enough food? We are doing veggie, sausage and bacon baps so I am concerned 75% (75 baps) will not be enough for 100 guests, who may or may not be hungry. Opinions please x

I think they say that so you don't feel obliged to pay for everyone when not everyone necessarily will be hungry. They leave the option there for you to make a decision. Also some people are no shows unfortunately

You will find not everyone gets hungry in the evening. I am only going to cater for around this amount, but my wedding is on a Sunday so I know that quite a few of my guests will be leaving before evening food is served as they still want the kids to go to school the next day.

At my friend's wedding I didn't eat any evening food as I wasn't hungry. It depends if half of your guests will be provided with a big meal before. They might find that filling.
