Can't give you anything specific as I think quirky/ different ideas should be personal to your taste but try and think what people attending your wedding would look at and say that is very them. For example my partner and I are also very competitive so during cocktail hour (post ceremony) we have garden games and are going to set up a Team Bride V Team Groom competition- people will get given their team as they walk into the church. Not overly quirky but something a little different that will make people think is very us

As Chloe says it should be personal to you. H2B and I are motorcyclists and met through that so we are having photos of us riding our bikes on the front of our wedding invitations (luckily found a printing company that comes in much cheaper than doing it on-line).
