I recently got engaged and found my dream venue..... it's even free on the exact date that H2B and I want to tie the knot and we can have exclusive use! Fantastic! The only hiccup is that we've been told we'd have to go for a 12 o'clock ceremony (otherwise we need a different date or a different venue ???? !). Most of the weddings we have been to recently have started MUCH later in the day. I'm worried if we start things this early that getting ready will be a manic rush and I wont get to enjoy it as much, and more critically, that it will leave big gaps in the day and that therefore the atmosphere will go a little flat. With 6 hours to fill before the evening guests arrive, I don't know what to do! Is anyone else getting married this early in the day? Or does anyone have any tips or ideas for how we can structure the day to keep things flowing? Please help!
My future brother-in-law amd sister-in-law got married around half 2 and their evening guests came at 7, everything was rushed because they also had a sit down meal, if your looking to have a sit down meal after your photos (because they can take some time) everything should be fine :)
A midday wedding realistically isn't that early. It may sound early but for a free venue it is what it is.
My best friend got married at 1 and it was a long day being part of the bridal party but it was such a good day it didn't matter x
I am getting married at 1 which is only an hour later and we are running out of time to fit everything in before the evening guests arrive. Its surprising how long things take. If you are having a meal between the ceremony and the evening do then you wont have an issue x
Hi If it would be exclusive to you why can't you get married at the time you chose :)
We are getting married at 12 0'clock, it seems to be a fairly normal time i think.
If your a morning person that would be fine to start at 12. How did you getnyour venue for free?
