My fiancé and I have booked our wedding for just over 2 years time but haven't told my dad yet. I know he won't be happy as we are supposed to be putting money aside for a different reason. How would you approach this subject?
Just tell him and say your marriage and wedding is very important.
Best to tell him and get it over with if you are sure he will not be happy. Even if he is annoyed now he will have time to (hopefully) get over it.
