Hi all. Looking for some advice and recommendations. I live in Birmingham and have bought my wedding dress from wed2be. They don’t do alterations. The dress fits perfectly but is too long so needs shortening (and I can do this now as I have my wedding shoes). How on earth do I go about finding a seamstress to shorten my dress. Or finding one I can trust that also isn’t going to cost a fortune. As the dress is from wed2be there is no way to replace it if it’s damaged, will only get the money back on the insurance and would have to start the search for my perfect dress all over again..... Looking for any recommendations if anyone has used a seamstress around Birmingham and Black Country Area? Thank you in advance Hadassah

Hi just contact a local wedding dress boutique and ask if they can recommend a seamstress. They should be happy to as the seamstresses are usually self employed. Good luck
