My son is really keen to take on some jobs at our wedding. He will be 10 at the time and we are thinking an usher. Can anyone recommend any other little jobs he could do?

Give out hymn books and order of service as guests arrive. If he knows key family and freinds you want photos of he could help photographer identify them. Bible reading. Serve cake at reception. It really is up to you hun x

My step kids are reading their choice of poem at the service ;) and we have a celebrant so they're involved in the service too.

We gave my step son a video camera and let him shoot his ideas of what made us a family on the big day. Truly heartmelting footage as seen by a boy whose mum died when he was 5 and his acceptance of me as his step mum 6 years later. Priceless. And he felt like a pro and loved doing it. Xxx
