I booked venue, registrar, cake, cars, decor and band. DJ came in with price of venue. We booked our wedding September 2016 for May 2018

I’m getting married May 19 as well. I would defos book your music next. I’m looking for mine also. Not having much luck trying to find a band who will also do a wee ceilidh. I’ve already booked my flowers along with everything else you have. Trying to book everything I know I need to book now so it’s as stress free as possible. Then it’s just a case of buying things like stationary & favours etc. Good luck

As a wedding dress takes about 9 months to arrive from order I would start looking soon after Xmas. Time for alterations has to be taken into consideration as well as buying accessories ( shoes, veil )

We are getting married April 2020 - we have venues, celebrant, photographer, cake, videographer & DJ booked - and a photo booth - and the car! Lol

We are going in no particular order just booking as we see what we like :)

I would prioritise what you have left and book them in that order. The best suppliers get booked up really fast so if you want them, you need to sort them first.

Getting married in Oct 2019. Got venue, videographer, photographer, registrar and florist booked in that order. Got our band picked and will book them next. After that.. I guess dress next year. I just wanted to get everyone who needed to be booked booked so not to stress out if I can't get who I really wanted.

We're getting married June 2019. We did venue, registrar, cake, photographer/videographer, florist, chair hire, DJ. I've also got my date pencilled in with hair and make up ladies as I knew who I wanted and these get booked up fast. I've ordered save the dates as they were on special offer (although we haven't given them out yet), and I've asked a family member to make the favours. Next will be car I think, then dress and invitations in the new year.

Getting married in 10 months. Got church booked, then reception which came with catering, DJ and decorations. Currently trying to sort photographer and cars. And have sent out save the dates

April 2019 and i have my venue, my bridal party, full day and evening entertainment, venue dressing company, photographer, make up artist and cake booked. Somethings i tried to book were already fully booked on my day so i say do everything sooner than later :)

I planned and booked my whole wedding in 18 weeks, in the middle of July too and didn’t have any difficulties or go without anything because there are just soooo many suppliers out there now, the wedding business is booming! There will always be someone available. I guess you only really need to book massively in advance if there is someone specific that absolutely have to have xx

I have sorted my venue and DJ only. I will probably start organising more at the start of next eat.

I think you have plenty of time left to book everything.
We are getting married in June 2018 and got engaged in June 2017 so only have the year to turn it all around.
What I would say though is the sooner you book everything the more likely you are to get your first choices. As so many brides are very organised
