Hi Start looking after Christmas just to see what style you like best then leave it until 10 months before your wedding there will be new styles out by then :)

Hi, I went looking in July this year (I get married July 2019) on the grounds that I wanted longer to pay for it! Just as well because I went well over budget, but the 3rd one I tried was 'the one' and regardless of the price I was having it! Xxx

Hi there is no harm in starting now, from my experience I tried over 30 dresses and became disillusioned. Check out wedding fayres and magazines etc as your idea of a style you adore may not suit you which happened to me. Enjoy 👰

We get married in Feb 2019 and I bought my dress a couple of weeks ago. Just because I loved 2 dresses, one was limited edition and the other there were only 2 left so I had to choose and buy one there and then or risk losing them!

I am getting married October 2019 and ordered my dress just over a week ago.
I went to loads of different shops, tried loads on, eventually went back to a dress I had tried on before.
Just go when you want, as long as you leave enough time to get it ordered you'll be fine :) xxx

I was told 18 months but on speaking to The Wedding Room Peterborough they said it may be a good idea to go in sooner if you ave no idea of style. I am getting married April 2020.

I'm getting married Aug 19 and won't be looking til at least this time next year but then that's because I want to lose weight before I look as dresses that would be flattering on a size 20 body would not necessarily be the right style for a smaller figure which is what am hoping to achieve within the next 12 months. Been looking at dress styles though just not physically trying anything on x

I browsed a little online and at wedding fayres and made a note of the boutiques (and people at fayes) that I liked. I then made an appointment with my favourite 12 months before our date and had a wonderful experience. The owner was so lovely and really listened as I tried on. She made sure she was showing me things I might like without offering too much and making me feel overwhelmed. I tried on fewer than 8 dresses and found the perfect dress for me.

I am July 2019 also and I purchased my dress in June think I went in a bit early but I am so happy I found the one and wouldn’t change it for the world it took 3 months to arrive into the dress shop and it is now being held with the shop that will do my alterations until I go for my first fitting next Feb its all too exciting happy wedding planning x
