Hi! I was just wondering where everyone is getting underwear for under the wedding dress from?
Hi I haven't given it a thought yet :)
Me neither. Would be good to know what's way to wear 🤔
If I don't dig something out of my usual drawer I will probably find something in M&S for the day. I've been losing weight so no point in buying at Bravissimo prices.
My dress designer specializes in corsets and bustiers so I'll be getting mine from her.
Hi I have bought some bridal knickers from asos and a wonderbra bridal bra which has a moulded hands effect. I reviewed the bra and brides raved about it as it was so comfy and stayed in place. Hope this helps. My garter is from Miss Darcey, they are beautiful designs and you can have initials and dates embroidered on 🌸
Didn't bother with buying new wedding underwear. My dress had a built in bra and I wore a pair of white frilly knickers I already owned x
Debenhams bridal underwear is good.
I had a special day out in London with one of my bridesmaids & chose new special underwear @ Selfridges whilst they had a summer sale on ..... Enjoy looking
I got mine from ted baker, absolutely gorgeous and decorated with swarovski crystals 😍
I looked for hours for bridal underwear and everything was either too dear or not what I wanted... am glad though in end I wore my old faiths and brought something nice for our wedding night
Debenhams
I just wore my every day wear it all comes off anyway! X
I didn't wear a bra as I didn't need to and I had just bought a packet of my normal knickers. I'm glad I did as I got my monthly the day before our wedding
My friend use to work in a bridal shop and her advice was always Bridget Jones pants during the day and then a sneaky knicker change at the end. Hope that helps 😊
Debenhams
my dress was corset with built in bra so I just got nice knickers but bought a nice corset set for wedding night from lovehoney (it was even in our wedding colours lol) xx
Didn't wear a bra, but pants were about £3 from asda in the end!!
I couldn’t wear a bra with my dress so just got some powder blue nickers hahahaha plus there’s no nice underwear anywhere that isn’t ridiculously expensive
Seamstress sold me some supportive sticky boosting bra pads. Tesco are doing some lovely seamfree knickers at the moment so wore those
Sorry to jump on this post but are people wearing nude underwear or white? x
I'm getting mine made with cut offs from my wedding dress x
I'm having a similar dilema; the back of my dress is lace so I will need something backless. I've never tried the stick-on type bras so would appreciate feedback/ reviews from someone who has. My dress has cups incorporated (not underwired) and some boning in the bodice but not a lot and I'm a 32D so not sure that will be sufficient support alone
I got mine from ultimo! Xx
Some of the prices I've seen think I'll be going commando!
I think there's too many things needed for a wedding day that retailers put bridal in front off so they can hike the cost up and make it feel like a necessity, any beautiful underwear be it primark or otherwise should do the trick, some women seem to be spending a third of their dress cost on a thong and bra and it baffles me! I understand some dresses require specific straps or backs etc but if your one does not I would suggest buying something that you would feel confident and happy in (and ready to show off!)
Debenhams do some nice underwear for under dresses x
You might find you won't need a bra most dresses have cups in them so hold everything else in place
I bought my bridal underwear from Debenhams very good fit, comfortable and not too expensive. Xx
Iv brought pants from next as they say wifey on them as my bra built in to my wedding dress as so big chested
Marks and spencer do a good range xx
I feel to early to plan but my htb said last night just to wear my fave superwoman pants on the day! Im hoping the sexy corset underwear I bought in our early relationship days will fit me again for the honeymoon!
