Hi I haven't done it yet but I would have cover for every eventuality :)

I checked with our venue and our coordinator said they’re insured so we won’t need cover x x

We have insurance with Debenhams. We wanted to make sure we were covered if a supplier fails to deliver or goes out of business.

Yes, I’ve got insurance with Debenhams and I’ve covered the whole cost of the wedding (£25000)

We have insurance that covers absolutely everything we’ve only done it because my h2b is in the army and anything could happen

We used Debenhams too, easy to understand and can cover literally everything

We have insurance with E&L. Covers over the total cost of the wedding, including cancellation by any vendors or the entire event (God forbid!) also our wedding rings, the dresses/suits, etc. Really reassuring to have!

We aren't getting married until 2020 and have lots of suppliers for different things; we are getting insurance for the peace of mind as we know its a while away and those suppliers could go bust.

We will be getting insurance that our venue recommended purely so they knew there venue was covered. We did look around but found there suggestion was the best. They cover for everything like the venue itself, wedding attire, suppliers failing to show up. I heard a horror story about a brides dress and made me realise how important insurance is x

We spent 17 hours researching wedding insurance and looked into 10 different policies, in the end Debenhams was the best. It had the most comprehensives cover, it covered deposits already paid, you can increase the cover if you need to (many won't allow you to do that) and overall, they were offering higher amounts of cover on all the categories that most other polices (I made a spread sheet to compare - yep I'm one of those brides).

I am going to look at insurance soon getting married in 2019 but my partner doesn't keep too good just now. He is doing little for our wedding as I don't want to stress him and end up in hospital. Do most insurers cover the wedding and all things that go with it and ill health of a member of bridal party
