Nothing to worry about quick and easy!! Just confirming who you are

We live in Wales too and gave notice a couple of weeks ago. Took about 15 mins, just confirming who you and h2b are , ceremony date/time/ venue etc. Was really simple and nothing to be nervous about (although I also was nervous)

Thanks. I'm about to do the same but was unsure of what to expect.

I could be wrong, but I thought both of you had to give notice?

Is this only if you are not getting married in a church?

I gave notice with h2b in July. H2b went in 1st 30 minutes later. I had mine 10 minutes if that. The registrar was a Chelsea FC supporter as both I and h2b are . They were talking out football 😂

We did it yesterday and the whole thing took less than 10minutes, just checking that you know each other and that you aren't being forced:)

Its really easy. Its h2b age, job title /occupation, dob and full name including all names. The wedding details too. I was really nervous but completely easy xx

I believe that you both need to give notice in the district where you live - so for couples not yet living together I imagine that would mean going separately to different districts. Best to check with the register office to be on the safe side though!
