Wedding games? We want to have a game of mr and Mrs at the wedding. Holding the bride and grooms shoes. Is anyone having anything similar or any other games to get guests involved?

Never heard of this game but we were thinking of putting some ice breaker cards about the bride & groom to break the ice at tables, i.e. How did you meet them? Funny story about the him/her? They are available pre printed on one of the sites I visited but I can't remember which one.

Great idea - our venue has lawn games so may go for that for the gaps (i.e. Couples photos).

We are having a sweep stake for each table for how long the speeches will take. Each person contributes per table and the winner of the table collects the money and then we are doing a prize for overall winner. You can easily make them and have a look on Pinterest. x

I love this idea! We are also having a game at our enagement party where everyone is put into teams and have to answer questions about myself and my htb, sort of like a pub quiz just to break the ice x

I love quizzes so for our wedding the guests played 'mr or mrs' as tables- they had to decide whether the statement applied to mr or mrs and write it. We had two winning tables so had to have a tie break. I gave out bottles of coctails to the winning table. I thought it was great- think the guests did too x

We've ordered a package of five games from a local firm for £120 for 4 hours.
For that we get giant Jenna, giant snakes & ladder, giant connect four table football and giant buzzer.
We initially got these to keep kids occupied for the afternoon, but have now planned team bride and team groom games around them! We've had badges made up and we've got some prizes (good ones and boobies ones) to give out... reckon it's going to be a hoot!

We've got lawn games, giant chess and stuff like that so that people can entertain themselves while we're off having photos taken ️ I'm thinking of playing mr and mrs quiz (not sure what the h2b thinks ) but I'm thinking of doing it at the wedding breakfast as there is a gap between the end of that and the night do x

I did this as my Maid of Honour speech at my sister's wedding. I decorated 4 table tennis bats - 2 pink glitter paper and 2 blue glitter paper to use instead of shoes. Everyone got really involved and it went down really well.x

Thankyou everyone. I really want the guests to be involved and I love the idea of having quizzes on the tables to answer. Going to do eye spy for kids aswell and give them a check list of people/things to take pictures of (bride and groom, a couple kissing, someone dancing, the cake, etc) and give them disposable cameras.
