What is the norm when it comes to wedding vows? We are having a civil...

I am in Hertfordshire and the registrar gave us a booklet with the layout of the 'ceremony' along with some suggested things for those who didn't have any ideas. I havn't done mine yet (only getting married in July 2018) but thought I might read them to get my thoughts in order. Not sure if all registry offices do the same. Good luck anyway.

Hi we were told some people write their own vows. The registrar sent us a copy of what our vows would be there were 2 prayers one was an Apache prayer we have decided to stick with what the registrar sent us :)

There are regular vows for civil ceremonies, and the civil weddings I've been to have had them, but you can make your own if you want to :)
