Where are people getting the groomsmen suits from? I want to keep costs low and seeing as my beautiful bridesmaids dresses cost me £70 for the 4 of them am not wanting to spend over for the boys.. we’re getting married in July 2018 and we are a little quirky and not traditional.
Hi WE HAVEN'T GIVEN THIS A THOUGHT YET :)
We are hirering ours and asking them to pay for it, we only have 2dads 2best men, that would cost us over £500 so they are paying there own.
Moss bros are usually very good but again check google and read reviews on sites. Good luck x
Groomsmen pay for their own suit hire traditionally x
We bought ours from m&s, if you have a store card then you often get money off vouchers, we managed to get 20% off 2 suits. Cant get the third until next year as he's only 10 so has more growing to do.x
My dad bought suits from Matalan in the past for work. Maybe worth a look for wedding. A lot of high street shops have a wedding dept these days. Hope you find what you are looking for. X
Primark does lovely suits
My hubby bought a lovely red suit for him and his best man from itailor.com
We hired our suits from debenhams, came to £93 per suit...they do cheaper suits as well but that's what ours cost.
We used www.formallyyours.co.uk
We hired suits from formallyyours.co.uk they're about £65 a suit :) they were good quality and were in good condition :)
My hubby got his from Greenwood s cheaper
We hired ours through Young's in Debenhams
George at Asda. My husband got his from there 2 jackets, 2 throusers, 2 waistcoats, a pack of three white shirts, came to just over £100.
Matalan have a good selection
Matalan have a a great selection
Hiring via Debenhams, the grooms suit is free of charge!!
We got ours from Debenhams Men's Suits Debenhams Trafford. It was a gorgeous suit and very friendly and helpful staff. We didn't want a traditional wedding suit so thought high street would be better than wedding shops etc. Good prices too x
We got ours from next! It worked out if you signed up you got £20 of a spend of over £50 xx
Just seen the comment re Greenwoods they have gone out of business. Moss Bros, Debenhams and Burtons all do hire. Perhaps have a look at Matalan, ASOS and next if you would prefer to buy. Black Friday sales will be Nov too so perhaps have a look online then. Hope you find what you're after x
My husband got his suit from Asda and primark he is only going to wear it the one day and on rare occasions so we just did that x
My husband got his from a suits direct outlet store in ashford
We got my husbands from China 65 gbp and 30 for waistcoat in purple
Primark that's where my h2b and his groomsmen are getting theirs x
What about just getting them a waistcoat and tie in your chosen colour and asking them to wear black trousers and a white shirt (most men have these already)? Personally i like these in jeans.
Asda do suits for about £50 x
Ours came from Matalan, with waistcoats from DQT. Cravats made by weddingcravats.net using same material as bridesmaid dresses
Primary ours came from
Don't do greenwood's I've lost 600 through them.
We are currently looking for a new suit place x
I got mine from ASOS in the sales! Bargain x
Shop around. My son is hiring all the suits for him groomsmen dads
We're only having a best man and as my future hubby is wearing his biker jacket, so will his best man. We're a kooky bunch and not at all conventional.
have you thought of asda or tesco if on budget could buy them cheaper than hire get all for £60 or so i would have a look
We are getting ours next season so there should be lots of stock in but reckon it is cheaper to buy from New Look or somewhere than hire.
My best advice would be to shop about and put your own together x
Skopes, which we found in House Of Fraser, do suits in really lovely quality and great prices. We got ours for about the price you're looking for. Not sure if you can find them online or not but worth a look.
Dyfed menswear hire mens suits... they do a range of different suits to suit different budgets. Xx
Hired our from well suited they was brilliant and we were able to full matching suits for boys from 2 years xx
Formally yours hire - I can’t recommend them enough (£60/suit inc insurance, shirt and three piece suit, plus cravat/tie and pocket square). They were about £100 cheaper per suit than Moss Bros and service was excellent!
I got married abroad recently and really struggled to find what I had in mind for the men. We ended up finding the perfect ones at Moss Bros st a very cheap price. We got the ties from swagger and swoon online and they were great. I ordered the sample first to make sure it was the right colour. They were much cheaper than in the shops and good quality too x
We hired ours from a fab company - Peter Posh. They were brilliant
My goodness, good luck our jackets were £80 each and that was half price in the sale!!! Braces, bow ties, pocket squares shirts and trousers we are looking at minimum of )150 each
